Experience since 1958
About Us
The Draak family of entrepreneurs from Hamburg recognized the potential in plastics recycling as early as the end of the 1950s and specialized in the production of high-quality regranulates and compounds from post-industrial and post-consumer plastic waste.
Today, the goal is to use RSH recyclates in various applications and thus keep as much plastic waste as possible in the cycle and replace virgin materials.

"We have had our production lines built specifically according to our experience and special requirements. Mastering the entire process chain is crucial. Our motivated team of employees at RSH forms the basis of our success. The satisfaction of our customers with us and our products is our daily motivation".
"In order to produce consistently high-quality compounds and regranulates exclusively from clean production waste, you have to be prepared to put in a lot of effort every day and understand the versatile material plastic. Our experience from 65 years of plastic recycling is a real competitive advantage."

Certificates company
We carry out continuous improvement processes in the company for leaner and more efficient corporate structures and work processes.
Many of our work processes are supported by external committees and experts and are certified by them according to valid standards. This includes, among other things, environmental/occupational safety and health protection, which are regularly certified by external accredited testing centers, as well as the certification of our production facilities and quality management
Energy management system
The two locations in Hamburg and Garstedt have been operating an active energy management system since June 2012 and are certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2018. This is characterized by the careful and efficient handling and use of resources.
Quality management system
At its Hamburg and Garstedt locations, RSH is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management for the processing of plastic waste/regrinds/granules with the addition of additives, fillers, stabilizers to regranulates and recyclate-based compounds.
Certificates for RSH recyclates
We have external auditors certify the complete traceability of the raw materials used to produce our recyclates. We can also show you the Coe2 emissions for our products that are saved when producing recyclates compared to virgin materials.
EuCertPlast certificate
In June 2013, RSH received the EuCertPlast certificate for the reprocessing of industrially used films into regranulates at the Garstedt location. In August 2023, the certificate was extended to pre-consumer regranulates.
Co2e certificates
When examining our products as part of the CO2e balance, the entire life cycle is considered, from the transport of the plastic waste to be processed, through the recycling process, to the delivery of the goods to the customer. The survey and evaluation takes even the smallest details into account and is available for every RSH product on request.
Certificates for RSH disposal
With our disposal certificates we can fully confirm the disposal of your plastic waste.
Waste disposal company EfbV
